A position has become available within the Jakarta office of The Australian Consortium for ‘In-­Country’ Indonesian Studies (ACICIS) for a Program Assistant for ACICIS’ Jakarta programs. This is an entry‐level position and would suit a recent graduate of an Indonesian university, with an interest in International Relations, the Australia­‐Indonesia business relationship, Journalism, Development Studies, Tourism or cultural diplomacy.

Deputy Resident Director and Development Studies Program Coordinator - Yogyakarta

A position has become available within the Yogyakarta office of The Australian Consortium for ‘In-­Country’ Indonesian Studies (ACICIS) for a Deputy Resident Director for ACICIS’ Indonesia programs. Working with ACICIS’ Resident Director, this staff member will play a key role in supporting the day-­to­‐day running of ACICIS’ operations in Indonesia, across all programs, at a senior level. The Deputy Resident Director will also be principally responsible for managing ACICIS’ Development Studies semester and practicum programs, as ACICIS’ Development Studies Coordinator. As such, the ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree (from a recognised Indonesian or Australian tertiary instituition, with demonstrated program management and leadership experience in one or more of the following fields: Development Studies, Education, Gender, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), International Relations, Global Studies, or Corporate Social Responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised Indonesian or Australian tertiary institution, with demonstrated experience in one or more of the following fields: International Relations, Global Studies, the Australia-Indonesia business relationship, Journalism, Development Studies, education or cultural diplomacy.
