Support will be by advocacy, empowerment and building capacity to improve the provincial government, supervision consultants and contractors to plan, deliver, manage and monitor road maintenance tasks thereby providing improved governance of the provincial project roads asset. The position will require working closely with relevant stakeholders, including the public works and other provincial government departments.

Overall Task
The Senior Monitoring and Results Measurement (MRM) Manager is responsible for leading the MRM team to design, monitor, measure, and report targets and their achievements in coordination with the Program Implementing team.

The Sr. MRM Manager is part of the Core Leadership Team (CLT) of the Sustainable Cocoa Production Program (SCPP) and is expected to actively participate in regular meetings steering/leading the Program. He/She is also actively involved in M&E related SCPP network activities.

Latar Belakang
Kawasan Batang Toru merupakan sebuah kawasan hutan di Tapanuli yang mempunyai nilai ekologis dan ekonomis yang penting dengan berbagai daerah tangkapan air (DAS) yang penting buat 3 Kabupaten (Tapanuli Utara, Tengah dan Selatan) di Sumatra Utara. Daerah hutan Batang Toru sangat curam dan rawan erosi dan longsoran tanah. Selain nilai ekonomis, hutan Batang Toru juga adalah habitat untuk berbagai species flora dan fauna yang langka, termasuk populasi orangutan Sumatra yang cukup besar dan paling selatan di pulau Sumatra.

PanEco-YEL-SOCP mencari seorang Tenaga ahli GIS-Tata Ruang untuk membantu mewujudkan status lindung buat kawasan Batang Toru. Terkait dengan ahli GIS tujuan utama adalah mengembangkan kapasitas SDM pemangku terkait lokal, terutama melewati pelatihan GIS pada pihak Pemda dan stakeholder lokal lain dan bantuan teknis lain yang berkaitan dengan pemetaan dan perencanaan. Fokus pelatihan adalah pemakaian GIS, termasuk analysis SK 837 (pembobotan), DAS, perbuahan penutupan hutan, pemantauan titik api, dll yang penting terkait dengan perencanaan dan pengelolaan hutan.

IUWASH Program (Indonesia Urban Water Sanitation and Hygiene) is a Urban Water, Sanitation and Hygiene program in Indonesia, for period five years, funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID). IUWASH assist the Government of Indonesia to achieve the Millennium Development Goals through the expansion of safe access of clean water and sanitation services, especially those who have limited access to both services. To achieve this, IUWASH works with communities, local governments, civil society organizations, and service providers. IUWASH commitment is to improve the service needs of the community and increase service capacity, particularly of government to provide and supervise the quality of its services.

Expected results are: 
(a) Two million people who live in urban areas have access to safe drinking water services; 
(b) 250,000 people who live in urban areas gain access to improved sanitation; and
(c) cost of water per unit incurred by low-income people can be reduced at least 20%.
