Though based in Jakarta, he/she will directly report to the Southeast Asia office in Malaysia.
Role Summary:
- Acts as System Administrator of the Southeast Asia Base which currently encompasses three country offices of Malaysia, Indonesia, and Bangladesh.
- Identifies and analyzes user requirements and recommend appropriate applications or modifications.
- Performs a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation, and training tasks to ensure that the computer network performance meets company and user satisfaction.
- Attends to the IT needs of the different departments in the target countries of Southeast Asia.
- Acts as SharePoint advocate for the region.
- Responsible for setting up, installing and monitoring Local Area Networks of the base.
- Ensures that SEA-KL base adheres to IT security standards defined by the headquarter office and implements security measures within the office premises of Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh and field partners.
- Evaluates IT needs of the base, e.g. software, technology upgrade, internet service provider and recommends to his supervisor.
- Provides orientation on IT matters such applications such as a SharePoint interface used by the organization and security standards to new staff and create new email address account.
- Provides in-house training on current Microsoft-based applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Produces IT training and policies and procedures manuals.
- Provides orientation, training and support on Corporate Applications to SEA-KL base.
- Develops and maintains SharePoint-based sub-sites as may be requested.
• Degree in a relevant field, preferably IT related course
B. Minimum Experience/Training Requirement:
• 1-3 years in similar field
• 1-3 years in similar field
C. Competency Requirement:
• Knowledge of company supported applications and systems. Ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and to develop appropriate systems and/or applications solutions.
• Ability to develop, implement, install, test, and troubleshoot complex applications software.
• Ability to record, track, correspond, and document resolution of user problems by means of problem reporting database software.
• Ability to develop technical documentation for training, software/hardware use, user procedures, and as-required project deliverables.
• Ability to learn and support new applications and systems.
• Thorough abreast to the fast and changing technology
• Fluent in English both oral and written.
• Good biblical foundation with basic exposure in church and mission studies.
• Knowledge of company supported applications and systems. Ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and to develop appropriate systems and/or applications solutions.
• Ability to develop, implement, install, test, and troubleshoot complex applications software.
