Monitoring and Evaluation Expert Consultant

EU Indonesia Trade Support Programme II is recruiting for a Monitoring and Evaluation Expert for period of contract 3 months, starting immediately. 

Key Responsibilities: 
The M&E Expert will be the primary subject matter expert for performance management and evaluation task. The M&E Expert will be responsible for planning and coordinating evaluations and technical assistance tasks, as well as managing the performance management system, and providing technical expertise for performance management training. 

Programme Officer for DANIDA Environmental Support Programme – Jakarta


Indonesia and Denmark are cooperating through an Environmental Support Programme (ESP3). The overall ESP3 development objective is to support the Government of Indonesia in reconciling economic growth with sustainable development through improved environmental management and climate change mitigation and adaptation. The programme is implemented under the Royal Danish Embassy in Jakarta. ESP3 is looking for a Programme Officer who will be part of the National Coordination Unit which supports the Danish Embassy in programme implementation. The Programme Officer will work closely with Bappenas, Ministry of Environment and Forestry and Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, which are the main implementing partners of the programme.

Duties of Programme Officer :
• Initiate and manage relations with coordinating and implementing partners, and other stakeholders
• Support implementation of ESP3 Components in close coordination with implementing partners
• Provide support in managing tender and contracts, programme assessments and evaluations, progress reports,etc

The Programme Officer will work closely with Bappeda, BLH and Dinas ESDM, which are the main implementing partners of the programme in Central Java.

Duties of Programme Officer :
• Support the Provincial Advisor and existing Programme Officer and implementing partners to implement projects and activities at provincial level
• Report on project and activity progress and performance by means of field visits, reports and updates to project documents
• Represent ESP3 at workshops and meetings, on occasion

A GEF Grant (UNDP-KSDAE) EPASS Project - Enhancing the Protected Area System in Sulawesi for Biodiversity Conservation (2015-2010) – aims to safeguard globally significant biodiversity of Sulawesi from existing and future threats, through an improved PA system that is well integrated into its surrounding landscape, with the increasing capacities and financial resources, and collaborative governance in PAs and buffer zones. 
 
EPASS Project is implemented under the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF).  We are seeking highly qualified candidates to join EPASS team members at several duty stations and in Project Management Unit (PMU) in Jakarta .  Residence/domicile in Sulawesi will be advantages for posts in Lore Lindu NP in Palu, Central SulawesiBogani Nani Wartabone NP in Kotamobagu, North Sulawesi, and Greater Tangkoko CA in Manado, North Sulawesi.
